Hi I'm Randi

I have lived in seven different states. I love all sports but my favorite is soccer. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I currently live in Texas but I have lived all over the United States since my dad was in the military. Most of my family lives in Utah and let me tell you...I have TONS of aunts, uncles, and cousins and we have some of the best memories together. My family members are my best friends. I love to play sports and have played soccer since I was four years old. I will be going to school to become a high school history teacher because I love being able to make a difference in kids' lives... and I absolutely love anything historic!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints but that is not the reason why I am a Mormon today. Throughout my life I went to church and followed what my parents taught me, but as I grew older I wanted to know for myself whether this was the true church or not. I did not want to be following blindly. I read the Book of Mormon and I prayed to my Heavenly Father for an answer and I got one. I felt such peace and security in my heart that I know that this was the true church and that it was restored through Joseph Smith. I knew for myself that this was the right path for me and that God and Jesus Christ were pleased the choices I had made so far. Because I was given answer to my prayers I know without a doubt that this is the only true church on the earth. It is Jesus Christ's church and I will follow Him.

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to serve others and to live my faith. As part of the youth in my church, I have done many service projects such as doing yard work for those not able to do it themselves, babysitting for couples that haven't had many chances to have a date night, and bringing treats to the sick and elderly and visiting with them. I also have held numerous leadership positions in the youth program as I have moved through it. Currently I am a teacher for the eight year old children and I absolutely love it! I have never felt more terrified yet incredibly excited to teach. They teach me much more about this life and our Heavenly Father than I could even teach them.
