Hi I'm Daniel Espinoza

I love serving Others. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a graduated High School Student after many years of being in both public school and home school. My family moved to Austin, Texas in the end of 2014 because my dad received a job promotion from his work. After much prayer and thought we decided it was best to come to Texas and fulfill our Duty to God. After a year of experiencing new people and a new culture, we received another promotion back to our home town. I highly enjoy playing the Clarinet and music in general. I was recently called to serve as a missionary in the West Salt Lake Area Spanish Speaking. I enjoyed spending time with the youth in my Ward and trying to get to know each and every one of them better. I enjoy sharing the Gospel with others, which sparked my desire to serve as a missionary. I also enjoy some sports such as basketball and football. I love sharing my testimony of Christ to anyone who will listen. I also enjoy serving others. I spend most of my time working in preparation for my mission and spending time with my family before devoting 2 years of my life to the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

My family and I converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all at one time. We have an unusual conversion story. My dad was a Branch Manager for an Insurance Company that covered Columbus, Ohio and so he had many people who worked for him that were members of the Church. This prepared my dad for what was coming next. A well-known politician whom is a member of the Church wrote a book about his conversion story and my dad thoroughly read it. After he had read it, he shared the wonderful feeling he had experienced while reading the book and so he furthered his research by checking out the mormon.org and lds.org websites. We then made a family decision to call the local ward building and see if someone could provide some more information about the church and the beliefs that were held. We were not knowledgeable of the missionary program at that time and just expected a few members to share their beliefs, but instead, as we called the ward building, the Bishop answered the phone. The Bishop at the time then handed the phone to a very new missionary to our ward, and the missionary very gratefully answered the phone and set an appointment. We then had appointments with the missionaries 3-5 times a week because we could not get information about the church quick enough! We felt the great appreciation and love the members showed and so we are getting ready to start our fourth year as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know that Jesus Christ, the son of our loving Father in Heaven truly did die for me personally knowing that there was no other way for me to enter through the gates of heaven and he so humbly agreed to make this great sacrifice. I know that as I live faithfully and follow the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ I will be home once again and I will rejoice with my loving Father in Heaven and my elder brother, Jesus Christ. I say these things so humbly, in the name of our loving Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

As previously stated, I am called to serve as a missionary and as a result will spend 24/7 sharing the Gospel with someone or preparing to share the Gospel with someone. I have participated in several opportunities to temporarily serve as a missionary and those opportunities have given me even more opportunities to share my faith with others. There is no greater feeling than the one we receive when we help other people. I have had many awesome experiences including being able to meet 2 current Apostles of the Lord and a few other General Authorities as well. With that experience I am able to transfer and share that knowledge to the other youth and any member in my ward. The spirit that it brings to them is amazing and the spirit that it continues to bring to me is amazing. I love my Heavenly Father and the best way I know to share that love is to serve other children of God that are in need and to also share Christ's sweet message of the restored gospel with everyone.
