Hi I'm Jackie Grisham

Born and raised in Utah. I love making music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music like most people do. I love to perform, but still get nervous to. My parents helped me discover my love for music. My mother encouraged me to take piano lessons which I will forever be grateful for. My father taught me a few chords on the guitar and I taught myself from there. I think music is very powerful and it can touch hearts. Also, I absolutely find joy in playing volleyball. I have played the sport since I was a little girl. I am currently a full-time missionary serving in Mexico. I'm a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I want to share the happiness it can bring. It gives me guidance, peace, and real joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have discovered that it brings me real, true, pure happiness. The teachings within the church help guide my life and make me a better person. It gives me a chance to come closer to my Savior, Jesus Christ. It gives me a sense of purpose and understanding of life. I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. His gospel brightens my own life and the lives of my family members. I have learned for myself the truthfulness of the Gospel, countless times I have felt it.

How I live my faith

Growing up as a Mormon, I have been involved with musical groups in my church. I have also participated and planned youth activities. I have even had the opportunity to perform musical numbers during our meetings which has been very fun! The biggest way I live my faith right now is by serving 18 months away from my family and friends to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Mexico. I do this because it has brought me much happiness and peace especially during difficulties.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

Jackie Grisham
The Godhead consists of three members: God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and The Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost does not have a body of flesh and bones, but is a Spirit. He comforts us when we are worried, sad, lonely, or confused. He can warn us from danger, help us feel peace, and prompt us. One of the ways God communicates to us, His children, is through the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

Jackie Grisham
We believe that the family is the most important unit that exists. We believe that death isn't the end; that by following Christ and utilizing His Atonement we can be with our families eternally. Families can be "sealed" together forever never to be separated again through sacred ordinances which are performed in God's temples. This sealing power given by God was restored to Joseph Smith.
