Hi I'm April

I'm the youngest of 6 children, I work at a library, and I love to hike. I also love to learn and try new things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University and I am studying Medical Laboratory Science. I am the youngest in a family of eight and absolutely love to go hiking. I also like to compose music and to cook. I'm a bit of an introvert and I love to read. This works well for me, since I work at a library! I've recently become addicted to making stuffed animals (I have no idea why...) and I love Thai food!

Why I am a Mormon

It makes me happy! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints might seem a bit strange the first (or second) time you see it, but I know that choosing to become a member and following the teachings of this church brings true happiness. It is a constant in my life--no matter where I go the doctrine never changes. This church is true. I KNOW it is true. I have had confirmations of this again and again. Being a "Mormon" brings ME peace and happiness.

How I live my faith

I read the scriptures, follow the commandments, and attend church every week. I try to show how I feel about the church through my actions. I also participate in my church calling. My calling's main focus is to help take care of the women in my ward (local church). I oversee their needs, coordinate activities and events, and even teach occasionally. The presidency that I am in meets every week to decide how we can better serve our women.
