Hi I'm Heidi

I'm a junior at Utah State University, studying Landscape Architecture. I am a gymnastics coach and dancer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have four siblings, I am the neglected middle child. Just kidding my parents love me. We have fun together but we are all very different. For example, my sisters are tan with blonde hair and I am white with red hair. Like, how did that happen. We are an agile family. We all like doing flippy things such as going to Extreme Airsports in Provo Ut. One of my favorite things is family BBQ's. Because I love my family and I love food. I have always been a good student, school is easy. Most of my childhood was filled with gymnastics and playing in the sand pit. High School was all about drill team. That is when I discovered that I love dancing. I have finished two years of college and the next step is to go on a mission. That is what the next year and a half of my life will be about.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to be more than a good person. I want to be the kind of person that helps others and loves everyone. I want a life style that is stable and is centered around trying to develop christ like attributes. I want to feel clean and balanced. I want to have a relationship with my Father in Heaven. I want to be able to feel his love and feel his spirit. Living the LDS standards helps me to achieve this type of lifestyle.

How I live my faith

Up to this point in my life I have not lived my faith as well as I should. I have been following the commandments and been temple worthy but I want to be better. That is part of the reason I am going on a mission. I want to learn the habits that I need to live this faith. I haven't really shared the gospel with anyone yet and that is a big regret I've had. I wish I had been more bold growing up and told people what I believed. I am excited for the opportunity to share the gospel full time.
