Hi I'm Brittany Love

I attend Arizona State University and study Speech Pathology. I enjoy swimming, traveling, and being outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Arizona all of my life. I am the second oldest of four children. I love family get-togethers and love my family because they make me so happy and make me laugh! I love learning and am studying Speech and Hearing Sciences at Arizona State University in hopes of becoming a Speech Pathologist. I have loved living in Arizona because it offers an active lifestyle and doesn't get very cold. I enjoy swimming, hiking, dancing, going on bike rides, and running. In High School, I was Captain of the Swim Team and enjoyed practicing and competing in the butterfly and freestyle strokes. I also took American Sign Language for three years. I love making new friends and going on adventures--creating memories that will last a lifetime. I love to travel and learn about different cultures. Most recently, I am currently preparing to serve a full-time mission. I have been called to serve in the Chile Concepcion Mission and will prepare to teach the gospel in the Spanish language. I am so excited for this opportunity to serve and help the people of Chile come unto Christ through faith, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that my Savior died for me so that I can repent and return to live with my Heavenly Father again someday. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to this Earth through the prophet Joseph Smith and that Joseph Smith was given the power and authority of God to be able to translate the Book of Mormon correctly. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church because it has the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ and because the Spirit has testified to me that the Book of Mormon and the Church is true.

How I live my faith

Growing up, my family has been strong members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My parents are such good examples to me and have taught me to choose the right by following Jesus Christ. I love reading my scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, because every time I read I am able to feel the Spirit and take the things that I learn as I read into my daily life and apply it. I am able to receive guidance and direction, comfort, and knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I can feel God's love for me each time I read and that makes me happy. I know that I am a daughter of God and that God wants His children to be happy. I love to go to the Temple. The Temple is the House of the Lord and is a holy place where we can draw near to Him and make covenants with our Heavenly Father. I am currently serving on the Temple Committee in my Singles Ward. I am able to plan Temple trips where my ward can go to the temple and invite others to attend regularly. It has been such a blessing in my life! I am grateful that we have temples on the Earth today and that my family can be together forever because of it. I want more than anything to share the gospel with others. The gospel just makes me so happy and not only makes me the person that I am today but also makes me want to continually strive to be a better person each day. It makes me sad that others do not have the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ because I know that in my life I have been blessed by living and learning it. I hope that I will be able to help the people of Chile realize God's love for them and find happiness in the gospel of Jesus Christ on my mission.
