Hi I'm Bri

I am serving a full time mission in LIMA, PERÚ and left for the Mexico MTC on August 27th. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love riding and have a horse named Rogue. I did acting and theatre throughout high school. I grew up in Illinois and Utah. I have three brothers and one sister. I love reading and writing.

Why I am a Mormon

Because there is nothing like having the fullness of the Gospel in your life.

How I live my faith

I am a full-time Sister Missionary in Lima, Perú!

What is faith?

Bri
"Let me say to you, that many of you will see the time when you will have all the trouble, trial and persecution that you can stand, and plenty of opportunities to show that you are true to God and his work...To meet the difficulties that are coming, it will be necessary for you to have a knowledge of the truth of this work for yourselves...The time will come when no man nor woman will be able to endure on borrowed light. Each will have to be guided by the light within himself. If you do not have it, how can you stand?" -1887 talk by Heber C. Kimball The "borrowed light" he speaks of is the testimonies and faith of those around us. There comes a time when the faith of those around us will not be enough anymore, and that is when our own testimony and faith must be put to use. Growing up in a LDS family, I depended heavily on the "borrowed light" or faith of my parents. I never doubted their testimonies and their belief in the gospel; their belief was my belief. Now that I am older and preparing for a mission, I look back and realize much of my faith was not my own. I will not say that now I am all knowing and have infallible faith, because that is not true. Faith is a seed that you grow, but after you grow it you still need to nourish it constantly. Faith and testimony is a constant work in progress, but trusting in the Lord will only ever bring you peace and comfort and so many blessings. Never forget the Lord loves you. You are his child and so very precious to him. Amen. Show more Show less
