Hi I'm Jeremy

I grew up in Salt Lake City. I'm a National Guard Soldier, aircraft mechanic, rock climber, missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy staying active by riding my road bike and rock climbing 2-3 times a week. I train with my unit in the National Guard once a month and work on Apache Helicopters. My passion is aviation and I intend to study aeronautical engineering after I finish a full time mission in the Oklahoma Tulsa mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Book of Mormon is the most true and powerful book I have read. Before I enlisted in the National Guard I had never read it. During my Basic Training I decided I needed to read the Book my church was founded on. I began September 19th 2012 and finished it January 21st 2013. During that time period I faced the toughest times of my life and made it through in no small part due to the comfort and guidance the spirit offered me when I read from its pages. I am a Mormon because on the day I finished it I fell to my knees and wept for the Nephites. I wept because the spirit confirmed that their struggles were as real as mine. The only way that that book could be true was if Joseph Smith was prophet and the church he founded was the true restored Gospel of Christ.

How I live my faith

I attend my local ward every week and teach a class of men over 18 once a month. I am currently preparing to serve a full time mission for 2 years which will include me preaching and studying the gospel daily. This time period I will spend away from my friends family and work in order to immerse myself in Christ's message and work.
