Hi I'm Britton Swisher

I was raised in the church. I love volleyball, my 68 Camaro, and baseball. I am the baby of four kids.

About Me

I love volleyball, my 68 Camaro, and baseball. I am an eagle scout. I am the baby of four kids. I have lived in the same town my entire life. When I was 7 years old I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Leukemia. This experience helped my family grow strong testimonies. I needed a bone marrow transplant to survive. The odds that a family member would be a bone marrow match was 25% chance and if a family member isn't a match then it is a one in a million chance that a stranger will match. Both my sister and I knew that we were a match before the test results came back. We assured our mom that this was the case. And it was! I recovered in record time! My faith has grown and so has my testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have seen miracles that have come from the restored priesthood. I enjoy the happiness that living the gospel brings to me. I can tell the difference at school between the kids that live the standards of the gospel and the kids that don't know about it. The kids that live righteously have happiness and peace about them. I am Mormon because I love the teachings of the church and because the church wants and helps me to be the best person I can be. I have peace knowing that I can be with my family for eternity!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by earning my eagle scout. I worked hard and did a lot of service to become an eagle scout. I am also a leader in my youth program. In this position I help organize service projects, help other boys work on their scouting, sometimes I help teach lessons to the young men my age, and I bless the sacrament on Sunday for the congregation. I also set a good example at school and in the community by making good choices and living the churches standards.
