Hi I'm Nala

I grew up near Salt Lake City, Utah. I love teaching elementary students and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I taught myself how to play the piano when I was eight years old. I've always been good at learning to play musical instruments and I love it. I also really love to sing any chance I can get. I spend most of my car rides singing along to the radio. I spent last year going to school to get a degree in elementary education. It's my goal to teach kindergarten one day. I love teaching!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both Mormons and so I was raised in this church. I stick with it because I've had my prayers answered and I've been able to see the blessings that come from following the teachings of the Mormon church. I have had times in my life where I have been less converted to my religion and haven't done my best at following its teachings and because of that I can tell how much more light and understanding and love I have in my life when I am following the teachings of my church. I love the feelings of peace and love that come from my Heavenly Father and I can feel those most when I am striving to be close to Him by following the teachings of the Mormon church. I love this church more than anything in the world and I am so grateful for the blessings that I receive for doing my best to follow what it teaches.

How I live my faith

I'm living my faith by preparing to serve and LDS mission. I have my call to go serve in Frankfurt, Germany. I'm super excited to go teach the people there. I've also spent time as a secretary for the women's organization in my church. I had the opportunity to help organize activities for the sisters in my ward. I also had the opportunity to go visit some of those women to make sure they were doing ok and to provide any help they might need. I loved helping brighten someone's day by letting them know that they are loved!
