Hi I'm C. Jack Tousley

I was born in Utah and grew up in New York. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love movies and music! I have played the drums for 9 years and guitar for 7 years. My favorite band is the Foo Fighters and my favorite movie is The Lord of The Rings: Return of the King. I also love talking about music and especially movies. I like to think i'm pretty knowledgable when it comes to that subject especially the marvel superhero flicks. So i'm basically a nerd haha (my favorite superhero is spider-man). I also love playing sports, especially baseball! But I also love playing football, ultimate frisbee, soccer, as well as long boarding and riding dirt bikes. Growing up in New York really made me appreciate cultural diversity and all the different perspectives that people can have. I also come from a loving and fun family. I have a younger brother and sister as well as a wonderful mom and dad. I love them all to no end and I would not be the person I am today without them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the church is true. While i have always been a member of The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I have been exposed to many other religions. I by no means am bashing on other religions, but I just feel the spirit so strongly with this church, I cannot deny that this is the true church. I love this church without end as well as the people in it. They all just emulate the light and love of Christ, I can't help but admire. I know without a doubt that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and I know that Thomas S. Monson is our current latter-day prophet. And most importantly, I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and love us without end!

How I live my faith

I live my faith simply by living it. I served in all Aaronic Priesthood presidencies and was even called to be the Executive Secretary position in my YSA Ward my 2nd week there! I have been involved in the Mormon Helping Hands program, graduated from early morning seminary, attended my ward's weekly mutual activities with other youth, and loved attending church and living the gospel standards.
