Hi I'm Paris Abigail Moore

Performing and filmmaking are the passion. BFA student for classical acting at my university. LDS missionary. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 20 year old classical acting student, the second oldest in my family of four daughters, and I love to travel and explore nature and history. I've taught English in countries in Europe, and I plan to travel the world. My mum is one of my heroes, anchors, and my biggest fan. I am a nostalgic, and thus I hope to make films like the old golden days of film.I can't wait to use the gifts my Father in Heaven has given me, and at the time being, I am using the gift of my precious testimony by serving a mission for the church in Oregon! I absolutely love photography and cinematography --- This beautiful life is meant to be captured in many ways. :) I

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I have been born in this church, I knew I had to come to a knowledge of it on my own. I grew up always feeling it was right, but as I fell more rebellious in my teenage years, I saw what a difference not living my beliefs made. As I had a wake up call at about age sixteen, I turned myself around and it was like living again. This gospel makes me happiest. It makes so many other things in my life more meaningful; it completes my happiness. I have had it witnessed to me in my heart that this is the true church by this gospel, living prophets, the Book of Mormon, and by many other resources and experiences I know my Father in Heaven and Savior Jesus Christ love me and all people. I have more purpose in life because I know what this life means with an eternal perspective. Can I help that I have found what answers those questions that give meaning and purpose to us in life? This is huge! This is a miracle, and to some, it may think "how can some church change my life?" Because it's the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a way of life. ETERNAL life. I believe that Moses didn't expect what would happen when he saw a burning bush the impact it would have on his life and many others. I don't believe Joseph Smith either expected to see God the Father and His son Jesus Christ when he knelt to pray in his earnest search for truth. Don't doubt what may seem a small thing. In a sense, God is saying, "try me." I can tell you...it is worth it. More than anything else. I declare and will declare that this is it. This church is true, and it is honestly up to you to let it change your life as it has changed mine and many others. Because of what the Savior and Joseph Smith did, I am here. Everything in my life that is good I owe to them...How could I not know he is a prophet of God when I see the fruits of his labors in every good thing I have? Everything that holds purpose and happiness for me? Because of the restoration, we have that which holds greatest worth in the world.

How I live my faith

Every day in the small and simple things. By remembering who my Father in Heaven knows I can be, and who He wants me to be. I am also a Sunday School teacher in my Young Single Adult ward in Cedar City, which I have been for 9 months now. I am putting that on hold because I am now serving a mission in Eugene, Oregon! I love the people so much. I know that love is the motive behind all we do. Every hope I have rests on the assurance that God has a plan, and that plan is happening now. We can be happy now. We can have hope now. Don't wait to find joy in the journey. Because this journey is meant to be joyful. It is a plan of happiness. Because of him. Because of Christ.
