Hi I'm Tanner Garrett

I am an artist, I am a gamer, I am a friendly face, I love making people laugh, I AM a mormon

About Me

I am a preparing missionary in Mexico, I have diabetes which has been kind of a struggle through out my whole life, and ironically got diagnosed on Halloween (the day of candy), but I don't let it stop me from anything. I run, play Frisbee (my favorite), I bike, and do anything I can physically. I also love to play games, but nothing new. I like playing old NES games and am very competitive. I love playing my ukulele and listening to music. I love my friends and would do anything for them, I have a lot of faith in humanity to always do the right thing. I believe everybody is good and I trust everybody. I like trying new things so going to Mexico is definitely a good fit because I've never been outside the US, and I am a big believer in family. I wouldn't be the man I am without the help of my mom and dad and especially my two older brothers who both have served their missions. I am honored to serve a mission and look forward to helping and touching the lives of the inhabitants of Mexico

Why I am a Mormon

why am I a Mormon? The question that I am supposed to answer in this 2000 word box. Why am I Mormon? I don't know if i could tell you all the reasons in such a small box, but I will sum it up for you in just a couple sentences. I am Mormon because I know this church is true. I am Mormon because it made me who i am. I am Mormon because everyday when I wake up and say a prayer I get the reassurance that this is just right. Being Mormon had made my character a foundation and as I see people waver, bend, and conform to what is deemed "cool", but I shake my head in shame to see all those who once knew who they were get so lost. being Mormon has secured...no comforted me in who I am. I am Mormon and I know who I am and what I stand for.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in everyday life, there is temptation all around us and you have to immediately decide that you are above it. Temptations of the greatest magnitude will be presented before you, the devil know you and knows what your struggles are as well as your Heavenly Father you have to choose the right. you have to show your unwavering strength to stand up and be an example among men. You never know who is looking and if you look at it that way you need to step up to the plate and do whats right and be an example to those who look up to you.
