Hi I'm Cynthia Belteton

I grew up in California. I am serving a mission in the Oklahoma Oklahoma City Mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I am a daughter, a sister to four beautiful older sisters, and an aunt to 5 nieces and nephews(and two more on the way!!) I love practicing yoga, spending time out in the open, reading, creating crafts, and playing with my nieces and nephews! I am currently a student who is studying literature. I plan on becoming a English Second Language teacher for grades K-12. I truly look forward to becoming a guidance in these young children's lives where I will be able to teach them the wonders of reading and writing, as well as the joys of life! I am currently preparing to serve a mission. I report to the MTC in the beginning of July. I will be serving in Oklahoma!!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was very fortunate to have been born into this church. Thanks to the pioneer of my family, my beloved grandma. My grandmother was introduced to the church in her home land, El Salvador, along with my mother and aunt. I am so thankful for those special missionaries who were able to open her heart and bless us with eternal blessings. I love this gospel and knowledge I am able to have. Although I was born into this church my testimony did not begin to fully bloom till my late youth. Through understanding the power of the atonement, I am able to know the constant love we are so blessed to have. Our Heavenly Father is always by our side. I know that whenever I am going through a trial that he is there to listen. We are all able to over come anything if we put God first. I know that by listening to the words of the lord, through the scriptures, prayer, and revelations of prophets we are all capable to find endless happiness. We are all brothers and sisters and our Heavenly Father loves us equally. It is our choice to return that love, in order to receive true bliss.

How I live my faith

I am currently a Sunday school teacher in my family ward. I teach teachings of the old testament, to the young children in my primary. I am so grateful to have received this calling. As I have been able to teach these wonderful young souls the word of God, I have been able to grow and expand my knowledge as well as my testimony. I also attend the singles ward in my area, this is a ward especially for the young adults. I am truly blessed to be surrounded by such great peers who have the same morals and values as I. Not only do I attend the singles ward on Sundays, but as well as the institute on the week days. The institute of religion is a place of "weekly religious instruction" across the street from my college campus. The prophet has asked to make institute a priority, and I surely have by making sure to fit institute classes in between my schedule. All in all the institute is place where I am constantly learning how to truly apply gospel principles into my everyday life. I love being able to have all these opportunities where I am able to grow closer and closer to my Heavenly Father, understand the unconditional love of our Savior Jesus Christ, and grow in tune with the Holy Ghost.
