Hi I'm Isaura

I was born and raised in Texas. I find satisfaction in helping others. I try my best to always stand as a witness of God.

About Me

Professionally, I work with special needs infants in early childhood intervention. I have been working with families and infants for 12 years. I enjoy traveling and familiarizing myself with different peoples and cultures. My husband and I do not have children, but it is our hope and desire that one day we will be blessed with that opportunity.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS Church. I am thankful for parents who taught me and guided me to always choose the right and seek truth. As a young adult, I had to make my own decision on whether if what I was taught in my early years was true. As a child and teenager, I always depended on the testimony of my parents and leaders. I decided I need to find out on my own what was truth. After prayer and study, I came to my own conclusion that I knew: Jesus was our Savior and Son of God, the Book of Mormon was another testament of Christ, the Gospel was once again restored to this earth, and that Heavenly Father knows and loves me. I have also come to a clear understanding that we are all God's children, he loves us all the same and is no respecter of persons. I continue to follow His gospel because in it I find peace, comfort, joy and love.

How I live my faith

I served a mission for the Church, in Spain. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. It forever changed me and I still reminisce of the people I met and the opportunities I was given while I served as a missionary. At church, I currently work with the young women leaders and the young women of the area to help teach, guide, and train them. I also help plan annual girl's camps, youth conferences, dances, and other activities.
