Hi I'm Michael

I grew up in Roseville, CA. I'm a student and a bike racer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student studying business strategy. I enjoy cycling and spend a lot of time racing road bikes. I also love snowboarding, surfing, and just being physically active. I served a mission for 2 years in the north east part of Brazil.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and my parents raised me according to church teachings but I gained my own testimony little by little through small and simple things like; the feelings I had while reading and pondering the scriptures in both the Bible and the Book of Mormon as well as from the words of living prophets. I went away to serve a mission for two years to teach others about Christ because it is his gospel that blesses me with so much hope and happiness. I'm a Mormon today because I've prayed asking for confirmation from God that He still blesses us with prophets today and that the Book of Mormon is true and I've received an undeniable answer that he does and it is. It makes so much sense that he would continue to bless us with as much help today as he did in times of old because he loves us just as much now as ever. The gospel of Jesus Christ gives me hope and direction to my life.

How I live my faith

Not long ago I spent 2 years in the north east part of Brazil serving those people there and teaching them about the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is something that impacted my life greatly and I enjoyed tremendous personal growth as I shared with others my beliefs and helped them to understand how living the gospel of Jesus Christ will bring them happiness and comfort. Since my mission I have taught 5 year olds in Sunday school and I try to be a positive, happy person.
