Hi I'm Nolan Arters

I grew up in Idaho. I am an American Soldier. I am studying to be an Orthopedic Surgeon. I am a brother of twelve. I am a Mormon

About Me

I play the guitar, sing, dance, cook, and am studying to become an orthopedic surgeon. I read mainly fictional literature and a favorite series called the Forgotten Realms. I am in the Army National Guard, and am an Eagle Scout. I am athletic and enjoy any sport, even if I'm not good at it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe and trust in the gospel and the things they teach me to get through everyday of life. Despite being raised in the church doesn't mean I've lived a glamorous life. with two elder brothers deciding to leave the church and seeing the hardships that followed because of their choices have proven to me that I don't want to be apart of the worlds so called high life and drug crazed frenzies that are apparently the way to go to be happy. Because of the affirmation given to me the Holy Spirit I know of the personal struggle that can come from the hard hearted response to emotional and spiritual denial. I am a Mormon because I will keep myself at an arms distance from the temptations of the world and hold onto to the gospel with iron fisted faith in the salvation and redemption of the Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary serving in the Barranquilla, Colombia Mission and am serving the Lord with my might mind and strength. I was a teacher for the 13-14 year-old class and enjoy every minute teaching and preparing lessons for them. Probably the reason they like my lessons is because of the treats i bring them every so often. I raise my little brothers while my parents are working for the church and those two are quite the spit fires. Needless to say hands on experience with children will always come in handy.
