Hi I'm Andrew Christensen

A Floridian Citadel Cadet, Marine Hopeful, and Mormon Missionary

About Me

I am 18 years old and am serving a mission in Cordoba, Argentina. I graduated from high school in 2013 and did a year at the Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina for a year before leaving to serve my mission in May, 2014. I played basketball and swam in high school, sang in the Cadet Chorale and was a member of the Marine Unit at the Citadel, and play both piano and guitar. I also love fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, and any outdoor activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. However, through study and prayer, I have put gospel principles to the test and have received impressions affirming their validity. Furthermore, I have found intense happiness when I follow the standards and commandments given in the restored Gospel found in this church.

How I live my faith

I try to label myself as a Mormon in social settings to set expectations about my behavior. I was a member of the Boy Scout troop in my home congregation from ages 12-18 and obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. I was also an avid member of the church's youth organization, attending many youth conferences. Now I am a full-time missionary.
