Hi I'm Brea Petersen

I grew up in Cedar Hills my whole life. I am now serving a mission in Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar. I love sports, food, and life.

About Me

I love to be outdoors constantly. I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, running, swimming, playing soccer, and volleyball. I recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Family Studies. I love talking to others, meeting new people, and making connections every single day. I love the little things in life as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for various reasons. I have never found anything else that brings more true joy into the hearts of others than the gospel of Jesus Christ. Happiness comes from living righteously. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has provided me with the foundational principles to live my life in an effective and joyful manner. The Mormon religion has answered my questions pertaining to life, death, and what is to become of all of us. It gives me direction. It provides me with peace.

How I live my faith

I have actively participated within my single's ward branch while I have lived on my own for the past two years. I had the opportunity to teach a class of women that were around the same age as me. I was able to instruct them on the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I loved having this calling because it gave me the chance to get through to these women and help them to learn more about their religion and how to become better. In doing so, I also grew an immense amount myself. I now have the opportunity to serve a mission in Mongolia for the next year and a half. I am living my faith each and every day through constant scripture study, learning the Mongolian language, and serving others. I am the happiest when I am in the service of my God.
