Hi I'm Kelsi

Wife to Davis. Momma to Peyton. Happy girl. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Riverton, Utah. I graduated from Riverton High School and then attended Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah where I received my bachelor's degree in Community Health Education. I met my husband when I was just four years old. We were back door neighbors growing up and we began dating after he served a full time mission in Richmond Virginia. We were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple on September 17, 2010. My husband graduated with his bachelors degree in Aviation Science and he is on the road to becoming a commercial pilot for the airlines. We had our first baby, a little girl named Peyton on August 8,2013, and she has brought so much happiness into our lives. We moved to Phoenix, Arizona in March of 2014 for its sunshine and good weather. My husband got a job as a flight instructor and is building his hours for the airlines. I am currently working from home as a commissions manager for a company and very grateful that I am able to be home with our little girl. We love to spend time with family playing games, watching movies, going to/playing/ watching sporting events and love to go on vacation any chance we get.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a mormon family and I knew from a young age that this was the true church. I had amazing parents who taught us of our loving Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. I watched as they worked together to raise our family and the values they taught us. I knew this was something I wanted for myself and for my future family. There is a comfort and a peace that comes through the gospel and I know the principles of this church are true. Through this church we are able to return to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and live together forever with our families if we live righteously and keep His commandments. I cannot think of anything I want more then to be with my family forever and I try to live each day so that I can. I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ watch over us and bless us. I know they hear my prayers and I know they love me. It gives me such great strength to know that I am a daughter of God and that I am never alone. It is such a great strength to me to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost. To me the gospel just makes sense. It is so simple, so comforting and so rewarding to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my life trying to be the best I can by following the teachings of our prophets and the example of Jesus Christ. I strive to live the principles of the gospel and to be a better person then the one I was the day before. I live an attitude of gratitude for all Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ has given me and blessed me with. There is a great comfort in the organization of the church. A month ago I moved away from my family and the surroundings that I had known my entire life. I moved to a place I had never been to and where nothing was familiar. The one familiar thing was this church. It is such a comfort and a blessing that this church is the same everywhere you go. It is familiar and it is organized. The people love you and you are never alone. I am currently serving with the children in the church and I absolutely love it! They teach me more then I will ever teach them and it amazes me how much they know and how strong their faith is at such a young age. We attend church weekly and try to attend the temple monthly. I am a visiting teacher and I have developed such strong relationships through visiting teaching and the women's program, Relief Society.
