Hi I'm Terri

I'm a Jersey girl and proud of it! I'm a HAPPY wife with a blessed life! My 3 kids are what I am most proud of. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in New Jersey. I was raised by 2 amazing parents who provided me with all of the love, support and opportunity anyone would ever need. I graduated from college with a Nursing Degree. I married my High School sweetheart and now 15 years later we have 3 beautiful, healthy, smart, talented kids. Once we had our first child we made the decision as a couple to put my nursing career on hold. The choice to be a stay at home mom has been one of the best decisions of my life. The opportunity to be here for every stage of my children's lives and see their individual growth has been rewarding and priceless!!! When I'm not running kids around to various activities or taking care of household chores I'm usually looking for inspiration and ideas on home décor. I enjoy learning about fitness, health and nutrition, and my guilty pleasure is watching you tube videos on beauty and fashion.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Catholic and was taught from birth who God and Jesus Christ were. I was taught that God sent his Son down to earth to be an example, and to show us the way to eternal life. I am so grateful for those teachings. My parents were very diligent about taking my sisters and I to church every Sunday. This instilled in me a deep understanding of how important weekly worship is. I was active in my youth group and participated in spiritual retreats which also helped in developing my relationship with God and Jesus Christ. I was first introduced to the Mormon faith by a friend in elementary school. It was different. It wasn't what I had been taught my whole life so it seemed "weird". A living prophet... What?? Another book.. What??? 3 hours of church on Sunday?? No thanks!!! I am so grateful for patient friends that were members of the Mormon church. After many years passed, many long discussions, many questions answered and many hours reading the Book of Mormon I knew that I couldn't deny the truthfulness of this gospel. This is Christ's church! This is the gospel that Jesus Christ taught when he lived on the earth over 2000 years ago. I am so grateful for this knowledge. It has brought me so much peace and happiness. I love that families can be together forever, and that there is more to life than this earthly existence.

How I live my faith

Faith is very important to me. It's a fundamental principal of my belief. I have faith in Jesus Christ. He is my Savior and I try to follow his example. My faith prompts me to pray often, to read and study the scriptures to teach my children the gospel of Jesus Christ and to try my best to be a follower of Christ. My faith also moves me to participate actively in my church. This participation has given me the opportunity to help and serve others, to teach and mentor children and youth which in turn has helped me to grow closer to my Savior and Father in Heaven.
