Hi I'm Hoot

I'm a husband, father, volunteer firefighter, insurance agent, ice hockey referee, CrossFitter, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an active member of my community who gives back by serving as a volunteer firefighter when I am not working. In my professional life I actively network to assist others looking for business opportunities and new clients, while assisting my clients to protect their assets from lawsuits and catastrophic loss through the proper use of insurance on their cars, homes, and life insurance. At home I have a beautiful wife and two daughters who help me to keep my life in perspective. In what other time I have I referee ice hockey and CrossFit to stay in shape for my busy life.

Why I am a Mormon

Coming from a Protestant background I always knew the family unit was central to Heavenly Father's plan for us as His children, and within the Mormon faith we believe that we will be with our families forever and knowing this gives me great comfort as a husband and father. Having this belief in our lives helps us as a family have a long-term view of our lives together and as we learn and grow together we realize we are on a path together as a family forever. As a parent the teachings of the church assist me in having a community of like minded people who will help me instill into our daughters moral teachings that will assist them navigate the early years of their lives, by having this community around us as a family we know we are not alone in raising our children to interact in a world where morals are loosely interpreted.

How I live my faith

My faith is what keeps me grounded and assists me in focusing on what really matters. For me what matters is my family and being there for my wife and daughters, by providing for them financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Outside of the home I believe in serving our country and community and I do this by being a volunteer firefighter and helping those when they need the help the most. Our family enjoys serving the disadvantaged by serving at the Bishop's Storehouse where we load food orders for families in Western New York who can't afford groceries on their own. At church I teach an active group of 11 year-old children and I enjoy seeing how they grasp the concepts of the Gospel in their own lives, and how they take the lessons to heart and share them with their families.
