Hi I'm Brian

I was born and raised in New Mexico. I'm a football state champion. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in New Mexico and then moved to California when I was about 7. I lived there until I was 13 and then moved back to New Mexico. When I lived in California I skateboarded and surfed to stay active, and later played football before I moved. After returning to New Mexico I really got into football and decided that it was MY sport. I worked very hard with my team and we were able to take the state title my senior year. I continue to stay active in my life as well as keep my spiritual life in shape.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS church, (also known as the Mormon church) and haven't had a huge conversion experience, but have grown my testimony as I've gotten older. I've learned and I know that it is through this gospel that I am able to live with God again. I know that it was through divine inspiration and revelation that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which was the same church Christ organized while He was on this earth, was reorganized. I knew that Joseph Smith was a true prophet who was guided by God to reorganize this church and that Thomas S. Monson is the true and living prophet of God today. I know that if we follow the teachings of God found in the Book of Mormon and given through the leaders of the church we will be able to return to live with God again and be able to live eternally with our families. There is no greater joy than that found in the gospel of Christ. I've felt that joy, and I know you will feel it too if you follow Him.

How I live my faith

There are a couple different ways I show my faith in my life. I show my faith in my community, and in the activities and obligations I have in church. In my community, like at work or school, I am able to share my beliefs to those who are curious and help them understand and find answers to the questions they have about Mormons. I do not smoke, curse, do drugs, or participate in immoral activities, and try to be the best example I can be of a Christian. At church, I am able to give service and teach others more about God's teachings to us that are found in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I am also given the assignment to go around the city with the missionaries and teach others about our church, the teachings of Christ, and of God's commandments. I love teaching and bringing others closer to God and Christ.
