Hi I'm Jaron

I'm a Wisconsinite. Sports Fanatic (Go Pack Go). Husband. Tech start-up enthusiast. Average golfer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born in Idaho, but truly grew up in the land of cheese, Wisconsin. I moved back west to go to Utah State University in Logan, UT. It was while working at a cheese factory (ironic I know) that I met my wife. In fact, I was the one that hired her. Her application came with her phone number on it, can't pass on that. We've been married almost 2 years. Currently, I work at a tech start up in SLC, HireVue, helping them grow and become a global organization. I love being outdoors, golfing, concerts, hiking, and finding new restaurants.

Why I am a Mormon

There are so many reasons that I'm a Mormon. For starters, it is the foundation to everything I do. I feel like I have a purpose in life, and a different lens and perspective to look through. When things happen, it helps me recognize the temporary nature of this life. The second and another important reason is the doctrine of eternal families. I can't imagine not being with the ones we love in heaven, and as Mormon's we believe that marriage and family doesn't end on this earth when one passes on. There is no 'till death do us part'.

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith is by trying to be the best person I can. My wife and I get the opportunity to teach 7,8,9 year olds every sunday about the gospel. It's amazing to me see them truly learn, grow and understand the importance of scriptures. I also had the privilege of serving a 2 year mission in Ghana, Africa. Those 2 years taught me more about the gospel and life then the previous 19.
