Hi I'm Jonathan Vincent

I grew up in Northern idaho. I have lived in both spain and Taiwan.

About Me

I am very adventurous. I love to travel with my wife and 4 kids. I learned spanish as a missionary to Spain and I use it everyday at work. My family is the most important thing in my life. My wife and I spend hours each week at volleybal, basketball, musical performances, baseball and other activities our kids are involved in. I love my closest friends and we play games together often.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born to parents that were very involved in the church I had to learn for myself if it was the church for me. A big turning point for me was as a teen. I had a very persistent church leader invite me to participate in church activities. In the begging the answer was always no. Then one day I say I'd go. I was introduced to the spirit and the warm felling that comes from doing something right. My faith grows ever time a see a child do what is right or a teen stand for what they believe in. When adults aren't embarrassed to explain to others what Jesus means to them. I have seen the gospel transfiguration people into the best they can be. I know the church is true. I know because of the peaceful way I feel as I participate.

How I live my faith

I have been involved with the youth of our church for most of my adult life. I have taught Sunday school as well as been involved in Boy Scouts. I am currently a Bishop for our ward. I believe each of us are better for believe in something bigger than ourselves. I love to see the twinkle in a child's eye as he talks of Jesus. Jesus provided the ultimate sacrifice for all mankind. Its my prayer that I might stand tall always bearing his name without waivering.
