Hi I'm Cameron

I live for the stage! I sing, I dance, I act, I make a fool of my self on daily basis. I use the life God gave me to have fun!

About Me

For as long as I can remember my life has been one big show! My lovely parents raised me and my 4 sibling to make our lives a daily performance. My family certainly has a flair for the dramatic! Live is always better on a stage, behind a camera or near a microphone. There is no growth in your comfort zone and there is no comfort in your growth zone! I love trying new things, studying new fields and meeting new people. I played football and baseball while growing up, but once I hit high school I realized the Speech and Debater life was the one for me! Between that and local theater performances I made some cherished memories with some amazing friends. I had a fun 4 years of high school, that's for sure. My family is always singing! I have had a passion for music from a very young age. I love listening to it, singing it and jamming out to it! I love all sorts of music and I believe very strongly that music is one of the best forms of medicine (right behind laughter). I love my friends, coworkers and classmates, but above all I love my family. I come from a family of 7 and I love each and every one of them with all my heart. They have taught me so much, and it's because of them that I am the young man that I am today!

Why I am a Mormon

Many people find it strange that I don't do certain things because I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I actually like to think of it the other way around- I'm LDS because I don't like to do those things. The person I am makes me a member of this Church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints isn't simply an organization against drugs, alcohol and sex before marriage, but rather, a way for God's disciples to be gathered together and help one another keep the most important commandment of all "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind" (Matthew 22:37). Love for God and our fellow man is what binds us together. I've made several mistakes in my life, I haven't always lived up to the LDS standards. I have learned (the hard way) that true happiness, fun and fulfillment come according to obedience of God's commandments. There is no other way! Amidst the chaotic roller coaster we call "childhood", I was able to learn a valuable lesson. I have found no more peace, no more joy and no more satisfaction than I have from the Book of Mormon. I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. I know it with every fiber of my being. It has helped me answer EVERY important question in my life. I stand as a witness to the words of the Prophet Joseph Smith when he said that the Book of Mormon is "the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book." I know God lives. I have felt His love and His power in my life (especially from my study of the Book of Mormon). I have felt no greater happiness than I have when I am doing His will. That is why I am and always will be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Arizona, Tempe mission! I haven't always lived his way, but I have come to realize that true happiness is only possible when shared. Living outward is the ONLY way to live! I have found so much joy from living the Gospel of Jesus Christ, so I want to spend every waking moment sharing that joy with others. Missionary work has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. Though I cannot always be serving full time I have learned how to enlist myself into the Lord's army and to be constantly fighting to share the love of God, restored truths of Jesus Christ and to help people know as surely as I do that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's one and only church and that the Book of Mormon is how we come to know all truth. I love sharing my beliefs and testimony. So if you're interested let me know!
