Hi I'm Marinda

I am from Idaho. I am a stay at home mom of three kids and I teach piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom and have three adorable children. I enjoy running, reading, music, games, and family get togethers. I have a degree in Health Education. I enjoy baking and learning about food. I grew up a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Having grown up a Mormon, I can't say there was one specific event that helped me to know the church is true, but I know anytime that I prayed and asked my Heavenly Father if it was true I always felt peace and happiness. When I am following the teachings of the church I am happier and more successful in fulfilling my responsibilities. I know that Joseph Smith truly did see God the Father and his son Jesus Christ and that he restored the gospel to be on the earth again. I know we have a prophet on the earth today and that he is called of God. I am grateful to know that Heavenly Father has a plan for each and everyone of us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church, leading the choir in my ward and trying to be a good example to those around me; especially my children. Reading scriptures and praying daily as a family and individually helps me to feel the Spirit of the Lord and strengthens me be a better person. Taking opportunities to serve those around me makes me a better friend and person. Striving to keep the commandments as well as listening to the council of our prophet President Thomas S. Monson.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Marinda
This is such an important part of of my beliefs, that families can be together forever. My family is the center of my life, my greatest happiness and joy come from being with my family and the opportunities we have together. My goal is to live my life and teach my children how to live so that we may all return to our Father in Heaven and be together forever. Show more Show less
