Hi I'm Linda W. McCausland

I was born and raised in Utah county. I have always been a Mormon. I love being a wife, mother and grandmother.

About Me

I am 63 yrs. old and have been married for 30 years. My husband was married to a Mormon woman who died of cancer leaving him to raise 5 children. I had never been married. We got married in the Salt Lake City Temple and have 2 more children together. We now have 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. We are a very close family. I love people and I love to work. I always have some kind of project going to keep me busy. I walk 5 miles a day, am an early riser, love food(but can't have sugar)and love to see old movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. My parents were not active when I was born. They later divorced and I went to live with my grandparents. My grandmother took me to church and I have always continued to go. I have always liked going to the Mormon church and have never wanted to look elsewhere for religion.

How I live my faith

I have always had a church calling. I was the activity day chairman for 5-6 years with my husband. We loved to plan church events and really had some great times together as a ward. I had the opportunity to work with the young ladies (ages 12-18) in our ward. And I love to visit with the older ladies in our ward as well. We try to go out to dinner once a month together (4 of us) I have always liked to be involved with people at church. They are like extended family.

What is being a Mormon like?
