Hi I'm Mindi

I am a Mormon and the mother of 6 children.

About Me

I love being a mom, it is one of my greatest blessings. My children are wonderful sons and daughters of God and I am so grateful that my Heavenly Father trusted in me to teach them the gospel. I love to sew, quilt, garden, read all kinds of books, I also love to write. As a family we love to camp, hike, backpack, mountain bike and watch movies together.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born to the church I had to find my own testimony and why it was important to me to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. Even as a child I remember feeling my Savior with me when I was going through something really tough. I just knew He loved me and cared for me. I read the Book of Mormon the first time when I was 12 and I knew as I prayed about it that it was the word of God. Every religion class, even those I have taken not taught by the church, has been a witness to me that this is Christ's church. I loved to listen to the stories of Joseph Smith when I was a child and to hear of all he went through to do the Lord's work on Earth. I don't believe that a boy of 14 would endure the persecution he did and hold true to the story of seeing Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ if it wasn't true. I know he seen them and he restored Christ's church to the Earth for the latter days. I know Heavenly Father watches out for each one of us, that He knows us by name and loves us.

How I live my faith

The best way I think I can live my faith is to attend church every week and go to the Temple often. We are blessed to live within an hour of the Temple and I have been able to do family history work this year and have enjoyed going to the Temple for the people I have found in my family. I have served in many callings but my favorite has been to work with the youth, I love to see the simple faith they have.
