Hi I'm Kyle

I grew up around Salt Lake family. I love theatre and music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up loving music. In middle school I started playing the violin. In high school that gave way to theatre and choir. I wouldn't consider myself great, but I still love to act, sing, and watch just about any performance. I think my dream job would be to become a writer. My only completed work thus far is a one act play. I also enjoy spending time with my family. But not just my brothers and sisters. All of my aunts and uncles live fairly close, so I get to spend a lot of time with my cousins, which is awesome!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I fully believe that Jesus Christ lives and that we can receive personal revelation. I feel the Holy Ghost on a daily basis as I study and that gives me strength to live life the way Jesus wants all of us to. I believe the Book of Mormon is the word of God and is meant to expound upon lessons taught in the Bible. That is why I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

I attend church for three hours every Sunday. And then I attend a late afternoon class later that day geared specifically for people preparing to serve a mission. I also read scriptures and pray every day. On Tuesdays I go out with other members and visit with people in our ward boundaries. We try to focus on knowing everyone that lives around us-no matter what religion, race, age, hobby- and helping them draw closer to Christ. On top of all that, I'm going to wait to attend college for two years so that I can go to the Caribbean and teach people about the restored gospel

What is faith?

Kyle
On it's most basic level, faith is believing that God will bless you for your obedience. For example, say you are on time to work every day. Not only that, but you work as hard as you can while your at work. You HOPE, that your supervisor will notice and give you a raise for your efforts. When you receive a raise or promotion, you feel rewarded and try even harder to do your best. Faith is essentially the same. You do the things that God asks us to do, having FAITH that he will give you blessings for your efforts. As you realize those blessings, your faith increases-or becomes more real-making you want to try harder to do the things that God asks you to do. Show more Show less
