Hi I'm Sally

My most precious blessing is my family consisting of my husband, three children and four grandchildren. We are Mormons.

About Me

I love my family. After raising three adopted children, two from Korea, I started college at age 40. I enjoyed a wonderful career in healthcare. Due to my life-long love of animals, I was privileged to start a pet therapy program at my hospital. I grew up in Utah, free to roam the great outdoors, as did my husband. We have enjoyed 46-years of camping, boating, fishing and ATVing with our kids and our adult siblings.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because as a child, I admired the families of my friends who were Mormon. I noticed an uplifting environment in their homes that were free from substance abuse and quarreling. These families included me praying over meals, attending church, Monday night family home evenings, and kneeling in family prayer. I loved the special feeling in their homes. As I learned from them, I was determined to my best to have that kind of home and family. The Mormon church teaches us how to live to be an eternal family and supports moms and dads raising morally strong children. The Mormon church has given me great opportunities to learn and to serve. I have a precious testimony of Jesus Christ and a treasured peace-of-mind that I could not have found any other way.

How I live my faith

My faith in Jesus Christ is my anchor and my church has given me lifelong opportunities to serve in my community and my church. One of my favorite things is teaching children and working with Cub Scouts. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I am always needed. I have been fortunate to serve the adult women in our local area and to be blessed by their friendship and service to me. A Latter-Day Saint ward (parish) is like a second family. I find great joy and satisfaction in visiting neighbors and widows, helping with their yard work or other things they might need.
