Hi I'm Konner

I grew up in Utah. I just finished high school and am getting ready to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated out of high school, and i am currently preparing to serve a mission. I enjoy reading and writing, i have written several short stories. I love to run. In high school i did cross country, basketball and track. If there was a pick up game or anything like that chances are you would find me joining in and playing. I like to fly remote control airplanes and currently have one that flies and one that is unfinished. Landing the plane still proves a challenge though. I also like to work on cars. Currently i am working on a 54 chevy Bel-Air.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love this gospel. It has helped me see the light when I thought all hope was lost. Mistakes I have made, feeling the overwelming guilt from those mistakes, and then coming to know Christ and his forgiveness. The peace and happiness I obtained knowing i was forgiven helped me continue on with my life in a positive way. No longer to i dwell on the past, but i look toward the future and try to be the best me I can be. I bare my testimony that this church is true. I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is. I have felt the saviors love in my life and that is something i never want to lose. I know through the atonement we can be forgiven. The adversary will try to tell you that after everything you have done, there is no forgiveness for you. I am here to testify that that is not the truth. Christ is always waiting at the end of the road with open arms. All we have to do is decide whether or not we walk towards his embrace and be forgiven, or stare and long for the forgiveness. It all starts with one step in the right direction. It may be a small step, or even just a shuffle, but as you walk slowly towards Christ and continue making right choices, that slow walk will turn to a run. you might stumble on the way, but he is always there to help you on your journey. I have felt his presence, i have felt his love, and i have felt his forgiveness. The everlasting joy that comes from this gospel is incredible. Sometimes it isn't easy, but it is always worth it in the end. The gospel has given me the ability to see the light at the end of the tunnel, no matter how bleak the present is. I keep my head up high, and be the best me i can be. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I participate by helping in scouting, and going to activities that are put on. I go home teaching with my dad and visit families in the ward to see how they are doing. When someone asks if i can help out with something, i always try to say yes and help when i can. When the ward puts on an event, i try to get there early to help set up and be helpful in any way i can. I try to read the scriptures before bedtime and say my prayers morning and night. I try to be the best I can be through out my daily activities. I may make mistakes, but i try to learn from my mistakes and better myself from them.
