Hi I'm Carla

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have been a Mormon for six years. I am a 63 year old wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, Sunday school teacher, company Vice President, and controller.

Why I am a Mormon

My husband had grown up in the church. When we met he had separated from the church but I could tell that he had never lost his testimony. I was curious about a testimony that was so deep that even separation could not destroy it. As we began attending church, reading the scriptures, talking to members and learning about the gospel I began to understand. The strength, comfort and knowledge that grows and you understand Heavenly Father's plan and your importance in it is indescribable. There is nothing that can happen in this mortal life that is insurmountable when you have the perspective on our eternal nature and existence.

How I live my faith

I love my church. I love knowing that I am part of Heavenly Father's Plan. I love knowing I have my place in the gospel. I am amazed at all the opportunities I have to be involved in the organizations of the church and the gospel. There is always something to share. Sometimes we share our time, sometimes our talents, and sometime our feelings. Knowing that where ever i the world that I find myself there is a church meeting. Every Sunday I can meet with church members that are a part of the same Gospel. I many have traveled hundreds of miles but I am always Home at my Sunday Sacrament meeting.
