Hi I'm Collin

I'm 19 years old. I enjoy swimming, running, and beautiful scenery. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a college student and I love spending my time outdoors any time I get a chance. In high school, I swam on my high school swim team and with a local swim club. I also played in the orchestra and Jazz band, and I continue to play my trombone and piano today. I enjoy observing and learning about all creatures that live on the Earth, and I hope I can do my part to protect and preserve them.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents brought me to church every Sunday while I grew up, but it wasn't until I was older that I came to know of the truthfulness of the restored gospel. In high school, I attended seminary because I thought it was the right thing to do, but I didn't really know for sure why I felt that way. During my third year of seminary, my teacher helped me to feel the spirit through his testimony and he filled me with the desire to have the holy spirit as a constant companion. I began to diligently study the Book of Mormon and to pray for guidance. Overtime, I gained a strong testimony that Jesus Christ truly suffered and died for us. I know that Joseph Smith spoke to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in the spring of 1820, and through his obedience, we have the restored gospel today. I love being a part of the church because I feel accepted as someone who is continually seeking to improve them self.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday to grow closer to Heavenly Father. I also have a calling as a ward digital missionary where I use social media to reach out to others and to share uplifting messages. When I was baptized, I made covenants with Heavenly Father to follow the commandments, and to follow the words of our Prophet. I try to exemplify Christ by living up to our church standards every where I go. Right now, I am preparing to serve a full-time mission where I will serve others and introduce the gospel to them.
