Hi I'm McKay

Greetings! I am a sports enthusiast, a student, a missionary, and a Son of God.

About Me

As the oldest of six, I'm trying to set an example for my younger siblings. I have played sports all through high school, and I have also been a part of scholastic groups like National Honors Society. Some folks may say I'm pretty smart, but that is the result of hard work. I'm a self taught guitarist, I love baseball, watching football, and just about any sport. I have big plans to serve a mission and attend Brigham Young University when I return. I am fascinated with math and physics, small engines, nature, the human mind, and food. Having been commissioned of Jesues Christ, and by a Prophet in these latter days, I am currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints in the Philippines Bacolod Mission. I will return in September of 2016. I live my faith by example, and by bringing others unto Christ, in the Philippines, and wherever I go.

Why I am a Mormon

Even those who were born into the Church have a chance to find their own testimonies of its truthfulness, to find themselves, and to find Christ. I have come to know these things for myself. I read the scriptures, and I know, not just believe that they are true. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is like a big family. Come and join us!

How I live my faith

Being one of three Latter Day Saint young men at my school, I tend to stand out more than most. My example is a testament of my faith, and while it separates me from the rest of the world, I encourage all my peers to be happy and help others. I have had the opportunity to serve in various leadership positions with the youth in the Church, for example, I greet my peers at Seminary (Bible/Book of Mormon study class) every morning and help plan activities. I am a leader with the young men.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?
