Hi I'm Stacey

I am a student at Brigham Young University - Idaho. I am studying Communications with an emphasis Public Relations. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up a military brat, moving every couple of years. I love meeting new people all around me.. I have been gluten free for almost six years now. I recently returned from serving a full-time mission in the Chesapeake, Virginia. Serving the people of Virginia and North Carolina brought such joy to my life as I was able to devote all day every day to sharing what I love most with so many. I love my Savior and I love witnessing others take steps to come closer to Him. I love to talk, dance, sing and act. I enjoy making crafts, even though I am not very good at them. I love an ice cold Dr. Pepper in a foam cup straight from the fountain. I love movies and speak fluently in movie quotes.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a Mormon because it brings clarity and simplicity to my life. Sometimes it is easy to get overwhelmed by all of the things that we have going on in our life, but as I study the scriptures, pray to my Heavenly Father and attend my church meetings, I am given a greater perspective. The Gospel has helped me to understand I have a greater purpose to my life. I understand that I am a daughter of God. I know that He knows and loves me personally. I know that I have a real relationship with my Heavenly Father. I know that He answers prayer. I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ died for me so that I may be forgiven of my sins and return to live with Heavenly Father again. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel and translated the Book of Mormon. I know that the Book of Mormon was written for our day. I know that Heavenly Father has called a modern day Prophet that leads and guides us. I know that personal revelation is real. I know that the Temple is the House of the Lord and that through the power of the temple, families can be together forever. I know this church is true. I love it with all my heart and I want to share it with everyone so that they might have the same happiness that I do!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading my scriptures each day, and saying my prayers every morning and night. I love attending my church meetings each Sunday. I also love to spend time in Church programs, including musical groups, youth groups, and other activities that allow me to meet new people.
