Hi I'm Jacob

I've lived in Idaho my whole life. I will serve in the Philippines Laoag Mission. Born and raised in the LDS Church.

About Me

I love fun. My life is full of it, and I just can't get enough. Ultimate Frisbee, Cross Country, swimming, boating, snowboarding, cycling, and about any other sport or activity you can think of. I just graduated high school and will be leaving on a mission before attending Brigham Young University in fall of 2016.

Why I am a Mormon

The church means a great deal to me. In a few words, I love being a member because of the peace and joy it brings to my life. Through revelation I know that I will be with my family forever. It is a great comfort to me to know that the love we have developed in our home can continue throughout the eternities. I also find peace in the knowledge that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins so that I can be clean again and live in the presence of my Heavenly Father. I want nothing more at this point in my life to share the gospel with the people of Laoag. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and cares for me in every way possible.

How I live my faith

I am 17 years old, and I work with the Bishop to lead the 16 to 18 year old young men in our area. I help others around me and I try my very best to lead by example as Christ did. I volunteer my service and my love to my neighbors and friends regularly. My father and I are in charge of caring for several families in our area as a part of our home teaching duties, and I love those families so much.
