Hi I'm Tyler Holman

I grew up in Washington State and then moved to Texas where I really developed my testimony of Christ.

About Me

I grew up in the church and never doubted that I would serve a mission. I went to church every Sunday, youth activities when planned, and spent time with family whenever possible. I am average. I am average in school, in life, and at my work. I've learned something very important in my life, and that is that family can be so strong yet so fragile. Hold your families close and make family come first. They are all we have when we are young and the only organization that will exist after this life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up LDS and went to church weekly with no arguments. After gaining a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ I don't want to change. Pray to know if the Book of Mormon is God's word to us today. I know that our Father will answer us as we ask, seek, and knock. "Continuing revelation does not demean or discredit existing revelation. The Old Testament does not lose its value in our eyes when we are introduced to the New Testament, and the New Testament is only enhanced when we read the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. In considering the additional scripture accepted by Latter-day Saints, we might ask: Were those early Christians who for decades had access only to the primitive Gospel of Mark (generally considered the first of the New Testament Gospels to be written)—were they offended to receive the more detailed accounts set forth later by Matthew and Luke, to say nothing of the unprecedented passages and revelatory emphasis offered later yet by John? Surely they must have rejoiced that ever more convincing evidence of the divinity of Christ kept coming. And so do we rejoice." -Elder Jeffrey R. Holland Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles

How I live my faith

I strive to be meek and humble like Christ and the Father plead for us to be. I love my Father in Heaven. I love my Brother who is my Savior and Redeemer. Weekly church services help me learn how better to follow the Great Exemplar throughout the week. Partaking of the sacrament in remembrance of Him and His sacrifice provide me with the chance to renew the covenants I made when I was baptized and be clean again. Magnifying my priesthood duties blesses God's other children and helps them feel the love of Christ in their life.
