Hi I'm Annika

I love my family and friends, music, and trying new things. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love trying new things - eating new foods, traveling to new places, having a new experience. I enjoy swimming, running, dancing, painting and reading. My favorite thing to do with my family is travel and take our boat out for a day on the water. I love to laugh and look for the humor in things. I love life! I just deferred from BYU-Provo to serve a mission in Kennewick, Washington, Spanish speaking! I feel so blessed to have this opportunity and I can't wait to share what means the most in the world to me - the gospel - with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true gospel of Jesus Christ, who really lived and died as the Savior of mankind. Because of Him and His atoning sacrifice, I can be clean through repentance of my sins. I know that He lives and loves each of us individually. I know that He knows me and cares for me. I am a Mormon because by following the principles taught in the gospel, I have found happiness and peace. I know who I am - a child of God. This gives me a great sense of self-worth and hope. I know I can turn to my Heavenly Father for guidance, comfort, or when I just need someone to listen. I am a Mormon because I KNOW that this is the true and everlasting gospel. I know that by following Jesus Christ, we can return to live with our Heavenly Father. I know that God loves each of us for who we are, no matter what. He loves us endlessly.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by remembering what it's all about - and that is "trying to be like Jesus," who was kind, inclusive of everyone, loving, gentle, compassionate, and a true Friend. I am far from perfect, but I try to do what He asks of me and treat people the way He wants me to treat them. I think that obedience and faith are the elements of miracles; by obeying God's commandments and having a little faith, trust, and patience, great things will happen.
