Hi I'm Jonathan Wainhouse

I'm a Missionary in the Utah Provo Mission and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in China in 1994 and lived there since I was 3 years old. At 3 years old, I was adopted by a blessed family; my Dad, Mom and sister and was brought home to Washington. I have a developed a love for the piano; but I never had lessons, so I'm a self-taught piano player. I love the sound and the peacefulness of the music through piano playing and it also brings forth inspiration in my life. I also love playing sports and things that are outdoors to keep myself always active and moving. I was in an active family, but now i am the only one active in the family. though my family is not active, I am grateful for the opportunity to be an example while I am here on my mission and I hope it will make a huge difference in their lives as well as mine. My whole life have been a learning curve for me and like all of us, we all face challenges and through the Lord's grace and mercy, we can get through these challenges with happiness and assurance especially. Through years after years, I have grown closer to my Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus through the teachings of the Spirit of the Lord. And I know as I continue to do, the Lord will again bless those around me as I be an example as well as me.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because of the lifestyle and the closeness of family and the Lord. I know family can be together forever and that our loving Heavenly Father is always with us no matter the trial we will all face. I also know that by choosing this path, I am happy and I know that I have friends who become family as well, be always there to help me with anything I need immediately.

How I live my faith

I have been a member all my life since I arrived into the U.S. My faith has grown and my commitment to the Lord keeps on prospering. I am serving in the Utah Provo mission from '14-'16. My family is not active at all but I am determined to help them in their progression back to activity. So being on a mission, I know that some good will come out of this for my family and when its due time, they will come back. I just simply try to be the best I can be by knowing who I am and how i can contribute to my Father in Heaven. "Be thou an example of the believers..." 1 timothy 4:12
