Hi I'm Annie

I grew up in Wyoming. I am going to be a missionary in Argentina. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my first year of college. I love music and play the piano and other instruments. I played basketball and ran track in high school. I was also involved in musical theater for a few years. I have a great family who I love very much. I have great friends who share the same beliefs as me. They make it easier to keep my standards.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family who were already members of this church so I was baptized when I was eight years old. I am so grateful that I was born into a family with such high standards. I have so much respect for the converts of this church because they had to seek for this knowledge and learn it completely for themselves. Although I was taught the gospel at such a young age I still have had to learn for myself the truthfulness of it. I have prayed and searched for answers and I know it is true. I know that God lives and He is our father in heaven. I know Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father loves each of us very much. I know that everyone can be forgiven of past sins because of the atonement of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for Him and his sufferings in Gethsemane and on the cross. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that those records were recorded for our benefit so we could become more obedient. I know that Joseph Smith restored this church and that he saw Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. I know he was a prophet of God. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet today. I know he speaks truth from God. I'm grateful for this gospel and the opportunity I have to speak to my Heavenly Father everyday.

How I live my faith

I am a member of a small student branch. I get to help out with organizing activities and lessons for the women in the branch. I also get to teach lessons occasionally. I am also the branch pianist which I enjoy very much. I've had many opportunities to serve my town through activities in the church.
