Hi I'm Benjamin

I enjoy snowboarding, basketball, long walks on the beach, and I am currently serving in the Georgia Macon Mission!

About Me

I am from Minnesota and I was baptized into the church when I was 8 years old. Growing up I went to church, but only because my parents made me. It was just the normal thing to do. I didn't gain a testimony until I was 18, after years of less activeness despite my parents efforts. The gospel has changed my life in more ways than one can imagine. I like to play basketball, football, baseball, soccer and I enjoy cross-country skiing. I am an avid reader and I like all kinds of books. I would love to learn a second language someday maybe Spanish or German. I know very little of each. I am currently serving a mission in Macon Georgia. I left May of 2014 and will be done after 2 years. This is a great opportunity to learn, grow and bring happiness to the lives of others around me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because I know this is the one true church on the earth today. How do I know that? I believe that we all can know that this is Christ's church restored on the earth by reading the book of mormon and praying sincerely with an intent to know for yourself if it is true. Part of this restored gospel is a prophet on the earth today, which makes complete sense. Why would God not want us to learn from him through a prophet just like in times of old? I know that Christ died for us so that we can use the atonement to cleanse us from sin and I am grateful for that very precious gift that was given to us.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I am serving the people of Georgia in the Macon mission. I teach people about Christ's church and help them live happier lives.
