Hi I'm Carlos

I was born and raised as a member of the church and enjoy doing missionary work!

About Me

I am an Eagle Scout. I enjoy camping, exercise/ sports, socializing, I speak both Spanish and English. I am a seminary graduate and high school graduate and will be attending college to study biology. I play piano and I sang in school choir for 7 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel that I am progressing in life and that there is more to life then living and dying. To be a member of the church brings many blessings that are not widely available. I know that I am doing what is right in our community and being an example to those around me because of the standards which the lord wants us to live by. Although I am not perfect, the church helps me realize that I can continue to progress even through my errors and be able to get back on the straight and narrow if I mess up. I enjoy the camaraderie that one builds with their fellow members and the feeling that you can rely on them to help you in times of spiritual need as well as other forms of service. I believe that the church has truly made an impact in me and millions of others in the way we see things. There has never been a greater blessing for me in this life besides my family, than the church and all of the happiness it can bring if we exercise the gospel and live righteously. I know that we have a prophet here on earth ordained of God who directs us here on earth and that we can live happily with our Heavenly Father if we live righteously.

How I live my faith

I was a leader for our stake youth as well as young men's program in our branch. I also participate in teaching on Wednesday Boy Scout activities to help out the young boys in our branch. I currently teach children from ages 6-8 in our church on Sundays. I actively go with our branch missionaries to visit people and do service.
