Hi I'm Joshua Boyden

I was raised around the world but primarily in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am a distance runner and adventurer. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I enjoy life. I am 18 years young and loving every minute of it! I love the outdoors and all the wonderful adventures that come with it. I am a musician. I play a few instruments including: piano, bagpipes, guitar, and voice. I love to sing and do so regularly in a barbershop choir and quartet. I am an Eagle Scout. I will be attending the University of Utah in the fall and have interests in studying business and economics.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon first and foremost because I choose to be. I know for myself that my Heavenly Father knows and loves me personally. I have read and re-read the Book of Mormon and I have a testimony of the truthfulness of its divine message. I am a Mormon because I believe that my family will live together forever. I know that I am in this world but not of this world. Each of us has bigger and better things coming to us in the eternities if we can but live in accordance with the laws and ordinances of the Gospel. This is my testimony last of all that Jesus Christ lives. He lives and because He lives we too will live again.

How I live my faith

I am currently living my faith by accepting the call to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. I have been called to serve in the France Paris Mission. I live each day to try and better prepare myself for the trials and challenges that will come with serving a full time mission. I live my faith primarily through trying to uphold the virtue of Charity as described in the latter end of the seventh chapter of Moroni. I show my faith through my love for my fellow men and my devotion to following God's commandments.
