Hi I'm Erik Parkinson

I'm a twin. I'm a math major at BYU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in New York City, grew up in Minnesota, and live in Idaho. I go to school in Utah. I just finished my freshmen year in college majoring in math, and am about currently on a mission in Hungary. I come from a family with 5 kids, and I am the middle child and a twin. In my free time I love hiking, playing ultimate frisbee, and playing games with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the gospel and the joy it brings to my life. I love Jesus Christ and knowing that through prayer I can establish a personal relationship with him. I love the Book of Mormon and the guidance it can bring me. Whenever I have a question I know I can turn to the scriptures and they will bring me guidance. I know that being a part of this church has blessed my family immensely. It has made us closer, and has made it possible for us to be together forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading my scriptures and praying daily, and by attending church. I try to live my faith at all times, and live at all times as Christ would want me too. He has impacted all parts of my life. I try to show my love for him as I serve his children. He spent his life serving others, and so I feel that if we are to truly live his gospel we must do the same.
