Hi I'm Emily

I'm a student at BYU-Idaho from Phoenix Arizona. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student up at BYU-Idaho and have been called to serve a mission in the Honduras, San Pedro Sula West Mission!! I report to the Guatemala MTC February 18th, 2015 and am beyond thrilled!!! My family resides in Arizona and I love them more than anything. You will hardly ever see me not laughing, I love to live life to the fullest and enjoy every moment.

Why I am a Mormon

My wonderful parents always raised me to explore, test, and follow my own faith. I have been a member of this church my whole life, but I was always questioning things for myself and developing a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father. Through seeking for goodness and truth, I have my own solid foundation of personal revelation and faith that this is the true church of God.

How I live my faith

I owe everything I am to the Lord, and I try to live my life in appreciation for Him. By His Grace, I can be perfected and I do my best to emulate his example by loving Him and serving his children to the best of my ability.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

If you earnestly pray for the truth of Joseph Smith, the Restoration, and The Book of Mormon, Heavenly Father will reveal it to you. Be sensitive to the whisperings of the Holy Ghost--your answer will come, even if it's not in the way you expect. Show more Show less

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

We consider the Book of Mormon to be ANOTHER Testament of Jesus Christ, working hand-in-hand with the Bible. It is sacred and powerful. The Book of Mormon is an addition to these sacred truths, not a replacement. Show more Show less
