Hi I'm Ethan Rogers

I grew up in Idaho. I play the trombone and piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like playing sports with friends and family. Basketball and Ultimate frisbee are among my favorites, but there are several others that I enjoy. Music is also a huge part of my life. Whether it's listening to it, or creating it, I love music. Art in general is also a hobby of mine. Music, drawing, sculpting, you name it. I like working at something and then being able to see the finished product. I am now serving in the Virginia Chesapeake mission, and loving it!

Why I am a Mormon

There are several reason I am a Mormon, but what it comes down to is that I have felt the Holy Spirit testify that The Book of Mormon is true. Every time I read that book, I feel wonderful, and it brings a peace into my life. I try my best to live like Christ lived, and when I do, I feel good. You can know if something is good if it's fruits or results are good. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has only good fruits. It teaches to love everyone and do good to all. It teaches to serve others. It teaches to trust in God, and do your best. There is not a single teaching within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that is not good. I have felt Christ's love and I am grateful for His Atoning sacrifice. The Book of Mormon testifies of him. The Bible testifies of Him. I love both of these books, and I love Christ's Church.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a full time mission in the Virginia Chesapeake mission. Our purpose as missionaries is to invite others to come unto Christ. In and through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can become clean from all our guilt and sin and live with God again. I am blessed to be able to share this joyful message with the people within my mission.
