Hi I'm Ashley Lamb

I'm an avid reader of good books. I love listening to music and meeting new people. I laugh at good jokes and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but throughout my life I have been tested and tried and have found, for myself, that this church is true. Because of the experiences that I have had, I made the decision to serve a full-time mission to help others realize their true potential and happiness that they can have. I have three siblings that are all strong and supportive, and parents that are wonderful examples to me of putting Heavenly Father first. I attended BYU-Idaho and will soon be leaving to serve my mission in Arizona.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have never been happier than when I allow myself to be completely involved in His church. I am a Mormon because I feel the love and happiness that my Father in Heaven has for me when I follow His commandments. I am a Mormon because I know that the gospel is true. I am Mormon because it's not easy, but it's worth it. In a world full of darkness, He brings us light. I know that Heavenly Father loves each of His children, and He is pleased with us when we do what is right. We have the choice to be an example to the world, and it is our chance to be a part of the great work of God. I choose to obey. I choose to be happy. And I choose to be Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by smiling through the hard times, which always tend to come around. I try to be an example to everyone I meet, and to show that even though life is hard, it's even harder on your own. That being said, I try to live by the saying, "When life gets too hard to stand, kneel." Our Heavenly Father is our biggest fan, and He is rooting for us on the other end.
