Hi I'm Cole Weston

I'm a cowboy, a small town kid, and yes, I'm a mormon

About Me

I'm a cowboy. My family has a beef cow operation and I love being on a horse. I love to rope and pretty well I just love anything that you can do from a horse. I like working on diesel trucks and am contemplating taking my schooling farther into that field. I love hanging out with my friends. I have a dog that has been faithfully by my side for about six years now. I like watching movies and listening to music.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I can see the joy that it brings into my life. I was raised in the church and baptized at the age of 8. It is so comforting to know that our heavenly Father has a plan for us and we can return to live with him some day. The gospel has truly strengthened my family and for that I am grateful. I know it seems like some of the guidelines we follow are a little strict but I personally know that through following them we can be truly happy. I'm a Mormon because it can bring me and my family joy not only in this life but in the life after we die as well. I have made mistakes in the past but through the atonement that our Savior Jesus Christ went through for us I have been able to feel the complete happiness that comes from following his teachings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best person that I can be and by helping other people out. I am currently serving a full time mission for my church in the England Manchester Mission. Before my mission I was attending church every Sunday and trying to do those things that would better myself as a person. I had a calling in the primary where I was able to teach 11 and 12 year old kids the importance of the gospel. It was so amazing to see how willing young kids are to learn about the saviour and follow his teachings.
