Hi I'm Caitlin

Hi, I grew up in a small town in Idaho and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Idaho and I haven't really been anywhere outside of Idaho for long periods of time. I really enjoy doing anything outside like riding motorcycles or going fishing, but I also enjoy reading and sewing quilts. I have been to one year of college at BYU-Idaho and I really loved being at that school. I would like to be a registered dietician, and I hope to be able to work with premature babies in the hospitals.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, I was that one girl who has been a member of this church for her whole life and yet I didn't really have a true knowledge of the church and why I am a Mormon until I was a senior in high school. I was preparing to go to college and tying to figure things out in my life when I realized that I didn't know if I believed in the things that I had been taught my whole life. There were a lot of outside influences that were pushing me one way or another and I didn't really try to do anything about it. I realized when I graduated that the times in my life when I was the happiest was when I was actively going to church, reading my scriptures and saying my prayers. When I wasn't doing those things, I was unhappy and always looking for something new and exciting to fill that whole in my life. It wasn't until I went to school and BYU-Idaho that it hit me that this is the true church and that without it in my life I am lost. I know that there is a plan for me and I know that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins so that he could help me make it back to heaven to live with him and my Heavenly Father again. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and I know that it is an inspired book that was written thousands of years ago for me. I love this gospel and I hope that I will be able to share it with the people that I come in contact with.

How I live my faith

There are many ways that I live my faith. I love to go to church and learn new things every Sunday. I love to be apart of organizations that involve service, for example, I will help an organization that makes things for people all around the world. I am preparing to serve a full-time mission so I am trying to learn as much as I can to help serve the people I will be teaching.
